The boat is complete with multiple refrigerated drink boxes throughout to ensure your drink of choice is always chilled to satisfaction. Background: Grew up freshwater fishing in Texas. Started his professional career in 1984 while crewing on his father, Russ Hensley’s, boat the “Beastmaster” in St. Thomas, Mexico, Venezuela, and the Bahamas while earning his bachelor’s degree in Business from Florida Atlantic University.

Jason is a world traveled mate fishing from the Eastern Seaboard, South Florida, the Gulf of Mexico to South America as well Mexico on both the Atlantic and Pacific. He is mate of unparalleled proportions when it comes to fishing, entertaining and providing five-star food and service.
Jason has worked full time on the Chupacabra for 3 years

Cabo San Lucas 

Background:    Luis is the longest member of the team, working on the Chupacabra for 10 years. Luis grew up fishing the local waters of our area and is an essential element for the smooth operation of the boat.  

1990-1994 , He started and ran a Petrochemical supply distributorship in Venezuela where he fished every weekend. In 1994 he sold his business and began fishing full time. 1996 started and began running “FREED’EM” sport fishing operation in Madeira. In Madeira he weighed in one Blue Marlin over 1000# and released at least a dozen others including two 1000# in a single day for angler Guy Harvey.

In 2001 he purchased and ran “HOOKER” operation in Madeira and moved and based it in Ghana West Africa where he weighed in two more Blue Marlin over 1000# and caught four world records including the women’s all tackle Yellowfin and Bigeye Tuna. While the Hooker was based in Ghana he took the boat and fished one season in Bom Bom. In 2008 he ran the charter side of the Madam and Wild Hooker in Ascension Island and Brazil. In 1995, He moved his home to Kona Hawaii. During this time he also freelanced around the world winning over $4,000,000 in prize money in some of the biggest tournaments including The Bertram Hatters shootout, Poco Bueno, Bisbee Black and Blue and the Billfish extreme release league on ESPN.

When Clay is not in Mexico during late March until early May he can be found running his charter operation out of the Cape Verde Islands in the Atlantic Ocean where he is known for putting clients onto fish on a daily basis.

Places fished: Madeira, Ghana, Great Barrier Reef, Bom Bom, Ascension Island, Cape Verde, Brazil, Nova Scotia Canada, Bahamas, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Florida, Gulf of Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica and Hawaii. Achievements: Three Atlantic Granders ( 1004#, 1030#, 1058#) and releasing nearly 15 more. 1018# Bluefin Tuna. Six world records and over $4,000,000 in tournament prize money. Released over 2500 Blue Marlin. Game Fishing Philosophy: Supports release and satellite tag release (He has administered over 15 satellite tags in Ghana and the Virgin Islands).
