Casa Martillo is a true "get-away from it all" villa. Located in the small community just outside San Jose del Cabo in La Playita. It is a beautiful gem! Because it's very secluded with it's lushly landscaped setting, it has somewhat of a 'feel-good compound' vibe to it. The minute you walk past the peaceful water fountain into the shared areas of the main villa and guest casitas, you will begin to relax and enjoy. Housekeeping services are conveniently provided every third day of your stay!
Casa Martillo is a special place. The main home is comfortably decorated, feeling warm and inviting. It has three bedroom en-suites, a fully equipped kitchen and a huge rooftop palapa with seating areas, that looks over the marina. There are also two very nice private guest casitas that are separated by a large covered patio and BBQ area.
Between both living areas, the beautiful pool (not heated) is fun and fabulous with a large palapa canopy for those warm, bright, sunny Los Cabos days! The layout of the property is a social and entertaining one. It allows ones much needed privacy, while remaining social. Adding to the authentic compound feel of this villa, there are chickens and roosters nearby and can at times be a little boisterous.
Guests will have access to the entire property consisting of the main villa and also the guest casitas. If one does not need the use of the guest casitas, please let us know and we can adjust the nightly rate!:)
We will are available to answer any questions, address any concerns that you might have during your stay. There are also "keepers" of the property that are also very knowledgeable and available for assistance. If you would enjoy fishing in the "Marlin Capital of the World", snorkeling, whale watching or want to enjoy other activities, we can help you. Just let us know! :)

Casa Martillo sits directly across from the newer marina, Puerto Los Cabos. Being that Los Cabos is the "Sportfishing Capital of the World", it is the perfect stay for those serious anglers that want easy access to the marina while thoroughly enjoying their time "back at the compound".

The ever growing in popularity, Flora Farms is within a few short miles from Casa Martillo. The 10 acre organic farm is one that several love to go to and enjoy a new, different type of dining experience. The overall charm comes together with a beautiful restaurant and cocktail bar, while they prepare most cuisine with their freshly produced organic fruits and vegetables. You will also enjoy a farmer's market, art store, clothing store and see the quaint "cooking cottages" where they teach one how to grow and prepare organically. We know we love taking guests there for their first experience.
La Playita, also has a small, charming "fishing village" type atmosphere. There you will also find smaller, quaint bed and breakfast type accommodations, casual dining and places to just enjoy "having a beer"!
